I wish

... that there wasn't a need for a pediatric oncology unit or st. jude. children should be immune to cancer.

... that i could help the poor overweight child at mcdonalds every day and introduce her to a healthy lifestyle rather than the convenient.

... i could put out the cigarette on the arm of the pregnant mother who I have seen on numerous occasions.

... there was a pill to take to allow you to get pregnant, rather than taking a pill to prevent pregnancy.

... healthier foods were cheaper than unhealthy foods/snacks.

... people understood how much a simple please and thank you can mean to someone.

... I didn't wake up this morning to devastating news about about a spanish teacher from my high school who was shot and killed by his father.

... i could watch the news or read the newspaper. I chose not to because of all of the horrible stories that are reported.

These are just a few of my simple wishes....

It's amazing how the power of prayer can work in positive ways
and when I see something such as my wishes above
I stop and take a moment to say one....
I just wish the world could say a big group prayer
because as of lately I feel as if we could really use one!

Oh this is good! I wish the same thing! And I also wish that people would use common courtesy and OPEN a door when the see a mom, by herself, pushing a stroller. Not that that's happened to me or anything.

I wish all of those things too! Great post my dear. I hope some of them come true :)

I'm sorry about your teacher. You know I coach at North and some of my girls were very upset. It was heartbreaking. But I sat them down and let them know I was there for them. It's all I could do. Prayers for the North community and his friends/family!

I wish/pray for the same things! I love St. Jude but I so wish there wasn't a need for such a place. And my heart breaks for the teacher from your high school.

I love this. There's nothing more than burns me up is the fact that pregnant women will keep smoking!
