All things LOVED in April
Monday, November 1, 2010
I can't believe were already through another month in the year 2010.... the time is flying
I skipped out on All things LOVED in September - only because not much new was going on - and the only things that I could think of for the newly found items in my life had to do with food - so rather than sounding like a total fatty - i decided to focus on the next month and find items [and some food] that I LOVED this month
and i was able to do that
1. my iPhone - Bella [Isabella]
i love her
every time I'm on Bella, Justin asks - "you lovey your phone - don't you?" and every time I have to answer yes!
I'm loving having a smart phone again and I'm loving all the apps that I have and how something so small can keep me entertained for hours!
I'm pretty sure getting the iPhone was a life changing experience [for the better!]
[and i'm still kinda obsessing over my cover too - love it!]

I picked up these beauts about 2 weeks ago from Tar-Jay... I'm not a big flats person - however I'm loving these to wear to work or out and about with a pair of jeans
who needs heels to make your {you know what look good} when you can spice up your outfit with a cute little flat?
[double loving the fact they were only $15 last week]
Thank you Shannon from Life After I Dew for turning me onto this delish little snack. Ya'll know that I'm a sucker for anything lime, and these are just the right hint of lime. I think Shannon said it best - the only problem is that it's a mini bag and not a full bag of popcorn. Come on Orville - get your act together if your going to offer something this delicious - please offer us the big bags of popcorn too!
4. New York and Company Belts
I have worn my black belt once a week since I purchased it. I bought it originally for a jean dress [or is it more appropriate to say denim!?], and then I started pairing it with sweaters, with tops, with anything that needed that little extra pop of an accessory.
5. Gel Nails
My entire life I have had a difficult time keeping my nails manicured and looking decent - so whenever I had acrylics on I felt more polished and it was one less thing to deal with - however as we all know acrylics tear your nails up, and it gets pretty pricey every 3-4 weeks to have a balance... so I was beyond excited when I found out about gel nails.
Its a polish that takes 3 minutes to set but other than that nothing is added to your nail. You sit under the dryer thing [for lack of a better word] and then it sets and you have a thicker and much stronger nail. They are said to last anywhere from 4-6 weeks. I got mine done yesterday in 30 minutes [like left my house, drove the shopping plaza in front of my condo, sat down, had my nails done, and was back HOME in 30 minutes!]- how amazing is that - much better than sitting in the chair for 45- 1 hour, i don't know about you, but i don't have time for that.
Here they are on day 1 - i will make sure to keep y'all up dated on how they look a few weeks out - but for now - i'm all about the gel nails!
sorry blogger would not let me turn this picture if my life depending on it!
Happy November!!!
P.S. there is a Halloween Post up under this one.... you will have to check out our costumes!

exciting news.........
My friend kate... kate spade that is... sent me an email today [how sweet of her] - and for some reason i decided to open it [i rarely do this because then i just sit and drool over the gorgeous handbags she has to offer...] but today instead of expensive handbags i saw an iPhone 4 cover.. and i knew it was fate... i was meant to open that email
i have been waiting for about 3 months now for the white iphone... since i have lost berry [read about the tragic experience here]... and i have been lusting over JM's iPhone ever since waiting on the white phone to be released...
well my dear friends at Apple haven't moved quiet as fast as I would like them to [i have no clue why i have been so set on getting a white one...] and i think i'm okay with that because i think kate had better intentions for me anyway... because this is what i saw today

i love it - black and white, a hint of pink and POLKA DOTS!
yes please!
so i bit the bullet - and purchased this beauty - just the case [not the phone]
she will be here in 11 days [can you tell that i'm excited]
so within the next 11 days i will go from my lovely flip phone
to an iPhone
and i can't be more elated!
hello email. hello facebook. hello BLOGGING! hello big girl phone!
woohoo!

Memorial Tournament Pics and Updates
We went out to the tournament on Saturday but we entered through the main gate which they search your purse and any other personal belongings so I didn't want to risk loosing my camera - so I opted to leave it in the car.
But Sunday we went to our friends house to watch a few groups and I was able to get a few pictures from the porch

Sorry to bore you with all the golf chatter... but onto some other exciting news that is going on right now for JM and myself:
- JM has already had his mind set that he wants to switch to an iPhone at the release of the new ones - and I'm starting to come around on it - I just need to crunch some numbers to make sure that it is comparable price wise to my crackberry. I mainly want it for a safety for when I run so I have a phone and an iPod with me... well and lets be honest - for all the amazingly cool apps like a grocery list, and creamy ice.. ha! Do you all have any opinions on the new iPhone that is being released on the 24th? Has anyone switched from a blackberry to an iPhone? was it worth it? or should I just stick with my blackberry? Any advice would be greatly appreciated - as I am stuck with this device for the next 2 years
- The Biggest Loser competition is winding down - we only have 43 hours left [phew!] i'm ready for this competition to be over with so that we can go on with our lives and I don't have to eat chicken breasts only for lunch - and i'm pretty sure JM is excited for the varieties of dinners again - rather than just cottage cheese and pretzels! ha
- Aly is coming in town for a wedding on Saturday night, can't wait!
- Jude is celebrating his 1st bday on Sunday - i can't believe his is 1 already!
- We are having a MASSIVE celebration party at my parents on Sunday for everyone's bdays (Mom, Sister, Sister's Fiance, My great grandma) and celebrating Father's Day
So with all of this going on I will surely be a little post happy over the next few days!
Consider this your warning!
Happy Wednesday!
